Description
This mid-length is a quiver killer. Fun in a wide variety of wave conditions. Knee high slop, head high barrels, and overhead days at your favorite SoCal reef. Classic egg shape gives this board paddle power and great turning ability, making this board an absolute wave hog.
Originally designed for mellow head high plus days at reef breaks in San Diego. This board has excelled in almost every surf condition thrown its way. This board makes smooth carves and doesn’t hesitate to scoot around or over a section.
I have surfed this board extensively over the past few years and have experienced remarkable rides. Great board for beginners and advanced surfers.
Moderate rocker helps make drops into your favorite A frame. Single concave under the front foot lets the board stay in control while the edge is engaged and you are making that perfect full rail turn. Slight V starts just in front of the fin and goes all the way to the tail, letting this board easily surf rail to rail.
To maximize this board’s potential try a few different fins. I enjoy throwing in a 6.5” fin on shoulder high or smaller days or an 8” Volan fin for those bigger days. I’ve also messed around with a True Ames stage 6” fin giving this board a controlled yet loose feel in small surf.
